Initial Formation:  A priority, commitment of all and  hope for the Congregation

On our fourth day of the assembly, they told us about the last Congregational formation project that was missing to be presented; the Congregational Juniorate that takes place here in Madrid (Spain).

We  felt challenged in the face of the great challenge of what it means  to be accompaning the young women who enter the Congregation today. We identified and recognized several realities, conditions and elements of the different stages of formation and we saw the need to reinforce and return to the guidelines that we agreed on in our General Chapter  three years ago.

Congregational,Continental and provincial teams of formation,Congregational identity,

Commitment to training,Spirit of availablity  to accompany the young people are some of the topics discussed in detail and we agreed upon  to have the following

  • A new  Formators course for  the sisters who are willing to accompany the young ones
  • And to fix a term  of service of the sisters in formation

We thank the Lord for the  new vocations sent to us. We have the duty to welcome, take care of and, above all, accompany them in their  process of discovering their life project in the service of Jesus and the poorest.

We present and ask God for all the sisters who have  rendered  and are rendering their this service in the different stages of formation and those whom He will call in the future.
